Mount Ara

 

Mount Ara, also known as Aragats, is the highest peak in Armenia and is situated in the western part of the country. It is a dormant stratovolcano with four distinct peaks, each with its own geological characteristics. The highest peak, Northern Peak, stands at an elevation of 4,090 meters (13,419 feet) above sea level, making it the highest point in the Lesser Caucasus mountain range.
